The Padawan Lives: The Return of Ahsoka Tano | Star Wars Rebels

I conceived this piece as away to re-introduce 'Clone Wars' character, Ahsoka Tano to Star Wars: Rebels fans. The challenge was to appeal to Clone Wars, Star Wars and Rebels fan demographics of all ages. I took advantage of the artistic talents of series Executive Producer, Dave Filoni; Dave reflects on the creation and evolution of his character as he draws Ahsoka as she has appeared over the years. This is a more intimate discussion with Dave than with many of his appearances over his ten years at Lucasfilm. I Shot this on a Sony A7S and Panasonic GH4 - ( The Ashley Eckstein segment was shot in LA by the online team.) I provided creative direction and motion graphics support to LVP Editor Kevin Yost who shaped the piece into something really special. The piece premiered on USAtoday & starwars.com and has clocked up an impressive 400,000 views on youtube.
